Game Decisions

the readings provided insight on how to include learning and enjoyment into applications, and the how to apply them game design as well. I feel as though I have learned a great deal more about the psychology behind game design and simple tricks and tactics that game developer use every day to almost trick the human brain into liking the game .

Because game designers and their distinct games use science of the human brain to create games, games are always enjoyable. A blend of psychology and perfectly worked code creates an outcome that we as humans are in way pre-wired to love the game.  it is a matter of basic instinct and science. People are given a collection of tools to transform into resources in games. The player is assigned a goal but is not informed how to achieve it. The  outcome of the player  depends on wether or not  the player discovers out how to achieve the objective on their own.

Another thing I've learnt from this week's arcticles is the importance of making decisions. It is addressed how designing games involves ongoing decision-making. We examine our games to see what kinds of choices users must take during the game and why they do. When you eliminate decisions from a game, you're left with more of a series of sequences that a player must follow in order to reach the finish.

The pleasure of having to make a decision to get to the finish point is really what keeps players involved and makes the experience more enjoyable.Flow is a psychological concept that we may apply to our games to make them more challenging for players of all skill levels. Game designers work with flow because it has a straightforward progression.

Flow in gaming refers to when a player is fully absorbed and engrossed in a game. This helps players remain engaged in the game.

To summarise everything into one or two sentences s I have come to the conclusion that the human brain can be seen as so complex but when it comes to serotonin and fun . since has a huge pat to play in it all .As humans our minds need to be stimulated by simple yet effective things , and it is in genius that game developers have cracked the code on just how to do that.
